~ Student Council ~
The Student Council is the governing
body of the students at O.H.S. Through this body, projects
are carried on which greatly benefit the students and
faculty. One of the Council's most commendable
projects for the year of '59 was a money-raising campaign
for a public address system for our school. The council was
in charge of the concession stand at most of the basketball
games. The Student Council consists of
students selected from each class. The officers are then
chosen from among them, except the President who is chosen
by the student body. The members are Janet Read, Jerry
Parmenter, Mary Jo Slayman, Joan Bannister, and Ann Speck.
Mr. Longhofer is the Sponsor.
The Officers are Barbara Coffelt,
President; Connie Hagadorn, Vice-President; Mary Jo Asmus,
Secretary; Tom Speck, Treasurer; and Judy Baughman,
Publicity Chairman
