The unlimited attention given to
Osawatomie Schools by the members of the Board of Education
makes them an outstanding group of important people to the
students of our schools. The students appreciate their efforts
in improving our schools and the way in which they try to go
along with their ideas. The work they have done for Osawatomie
students will be remembered in years to come.

Mr. York, Superintendent of Osawatomie City
Schools,
is recognized for his vision in educational planning.
He has served the Osawatomie Schools for thirty-five years.
During this time, Mr. York has worked consistently toward
higher educational goals.
Mr. John R. Shaw, Principal, works diligently
for the betterment
of the school. He welcomes all students with a firm hand
and a kind smile and offers them his understanding
friendship.
Always eager to help, the secretaries,
Mrs. Jo Ann Young (foreground) and
Mrs. Betty Lhuillier, efficiently do the
secretarial work of the superintendent and the principal.
