~ Jr.-Sr. Reception ~

The Class of '22 entertained the Seniors of '21 with the annual Junior-Senior Reception on Saturday, May 8, at 8 o'clock in the high school building. The Seniors were welcomed by the receiving committee.

The decorating scheme was carried out in May Day fashion. The upper corridors were decorated with flowers and lawn seats to represent a garden. The gym was beautifully decorated with the class colors of purple, gold, and white. A May basket was fastened to the center of the ceiling, with the class streamers suspending from the basket to the garden fence.

After being entertained with Victrola music and each one participating in a social good time, they retired to the more inviting gym, where a four-course luncheon awaited them. Six girls of the Sophomore class served the luncheon.

Each table was daintily decorated with candles and flowers. Each guest was able to find his place, which was marked with a pretty May basket of purple, gold, and white, and upon it was printed the program and the following menu:

FIRST COURSE
Fruit Cocktail

SECOND COURSE

Pressed Chicken
Peas in Timbals

Potato Chips
