~ Jokes ~

Real jokes are mighty few, So don't get sore if the joke's on you.

"If the tea leaves, does the coffee have grounds for divorce? "
"Yes, if the tea spoons."

Charles W., "I don't know how to take that girl." Red: "Why in your arms, of course,"

Mr. Peck, who was unable to return from a week end visit in time for his classes because the heavy rains had destroyed the branch railway, sent a telegram as follows: "Cannot come, wash out on line." Axton's reply came: "Never mind, borrow a shirt."

Happy (regarding herself in a dorine mirror): "Huh, you can't see much in these misrrors."

IT OUGHT TO BE A CRIME

To have a test Monday morning.

To gossip about anybody.

To study over half an hour (?) a day.

To use slang.

To criticise these locals, if you have not handed any in.

THE ROWLD WOULD COME TO AN END

If Dwight danced.

If Etta stopped talking.

If Windy ceased laughing.

If Peck missed an afternoon waiting for sis.

If Lucille got to school before the 5 minute bell.

If Pauline didn't have Peck to argue with.

If Miss Eaton ever cracked a smile.

If Axton ever granted any one a wish.

If Joe got her geometry.

If Freda ever talked in study period.

If George Vermillion ceased getting peeved.

If Lee ever missed going to Pleasanton.

If Robert and Mary didn't write notes (ditto) Louise and Archie.

If Ethel Whitney didn't like La Von.

If Ruth Patterson didn't giggle.

If charles Wolf didn't flirt.

If Grace Kelley kept out of trouble.
