Band Had a Busy Calendar for the Year This has been a big year for the Osawatomie High School Band, which has been working hard to regain its "one" rating at district Festival. During the year, the band presented half-time shows for home football games. Other ensembles, such as Pep Band and Dance Band, were organized to play for basketball games and other functions. For the first time in several years the band played at the Kayette Christmas program. A number of trips were made by the band this fall. They particviated in the Louisburg fair parade and at the Mid-America Fair in Topeka. They also journeyed to Lawrence, where they took part in the K.U. Band Day.
