Kayettes Developed Responsibility Through Service

This past year, Kayettes have contributed much to the community in the way of projects. The first project Kayettes assumed was to purchase a ribbon machine to make bows used on packages for the Christmas season and on other occasions. For their second project they decorated nut cups used as tray favors for the patients at the Miami Count Hospital. Kayettes donated old toys to send to a needy family at Christmastime and sent clothes for bundle days as additional projects. The annual Date with Dad party was held October 22 with the dads and daughters dressed in Halloween costumes. A judging was held for the best dressed and a good time was had by all. The Kayettes concluded their festivities for the year with the Mother-Daughter Tea on March 24 and Senior Farewell in May.
