 Trojan Was Information Organ of O.H.S.

The Osawatomie Trojan was started in 1941 under the direction of Miss Mary Mott. In 1957, Miss Eleanor Vossler assumed the roll of sponsor of the newspaper. Four seniors wrote and edited the Osawatomie Trojan which was financed by the Board of Education. the distributed six hundred copies of each edition to senior and junior high students, some alumni, and to school in the surrounding area.

~ Student Council ~

The eleven students which constituted the Student Council were elected by the student boy on September 13, 1963, for the school term of 1963-64. The purposes of the Student Council are: To uphold the school tradition, to promote school activities, and to establish closer relationship between pupils, faculty, and the community.
