The Class of '31
entered O.H.S. in September 1926. We were very shy, and we
felt inferior to the upper classmen. We were soon initiated
into the mysteries of high school life, and we found it
enjoyable. We numbered 122. Mr. York became our
sponsor. The class elected Loren Evans, President; Maxine
Meek, Vice-President; and Walter Osman,
Secretary-Treasurer. We took part in all
of the activities, and we were considered to be one of the
most successful Freshman classes to ever enter
O.H.S. This year our class
if smaller, numbering only ninety-one. Miss Latta is our
sponsor, and she has helped us over many
difficulties. This year we chose
Roy Cundiff, President; Vice Dickerson, Vice-President; and
Loren Evans, Secretary-Treasurer. We have displayed
our pep in all activities, and we are looking forward to our
Junior year when we plan to advance ever more than we have
this year.
