CLASS OF 1968 AUGUST 31, 1950 - MAY 8, 2004 Mark David Wymore, 53, Lenexa, a former Osawatomie resident, died Saturday, May 8, 2004, in Shawnee Mission Medical Center after an illness of about three days. He was born Aug. 31, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Andrew and Jo Ann Wymore. He attended Osawatomie schools and was a 1968 graduate of Osawatomie High School. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and then worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad until its merger with Union Pacific Railroad. Mr. Wymore studied at Johnson County Community College and earned an associate degree in computer technology and also attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Mo.He and Carol Ann Wilcox of Lenexa were married in January 1996. Mr. Wymore was a member of the Lenexa Christian Center. Survivors include his wife of the home; his parents of Overland Park; two brothers, Craig Wymore of Leawood and Brent Wymore of Kansas City, Mo.; and a sister, Brenda Wymore of Overland Park. He was known as a loving and caring son, brother and uncle. Services were last Wednesday in the church, followed by burial in the Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa. Pallbearers were Craig Wymore, Brent Wymore, Andy Wymore, Scott Wymore, Joshua Lockrow and Nick Lockrow.
