Sharon Marie Day Inman, 60, Commerce, Texas, a former Osawatomie area resident, died Saturday, June 26, 2010.

The daughter of longtime Osawatomie area residents, Milo and Alberta Thompson Day, she was born Aug. 7, 1949, in Paola. She received her education in Parker and Osawatomie schools and graduated in 1967 from Osawatomie High School.

Mrs. Inman was a homemaker and was known as "mom to all of the kids".

Those preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, Katherine Day Snow.

Survivors include her two sons, Verlin Conkle, Jr., of Commerce (a graduate of Osawatomie High School with the class of 1988) and Josh Inman of Lawrence; two brothers, LeRoy Day of Hannibal, MO., and Art Day of Peck, KS; and two granddaughters.

A memorial service will be held in Kansas at a later date.

Texas arrangements were cared for by Commerce Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
