Jack L. Wheeler, 65, died May 31, 2010, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Ill.

He was born March 8, 1945, to Roland and Margaret Henness Wheeler in Kansas City, Mo., and attended Osawatomie High School and graduated in 1963.

He served six years in the United States Navy. He married Linda Nelson on Nov. 4, 1968.

He was preceded in death by his sister Carol Sue and brother Richard.

He is survived by his wife Linda; three sons Michael Wheeler, Jeffery Wheeler and Steven Wheeler; a daughter Bonnie, two grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Walters, Ruth Lack and Rita Trumbly.

Services were at 10 a.m. June 9 at the Kristan Funeral Home P.C., 219 West Maple Ave., Mundelein, Ill. Burial was in Ivanhoe Cemetery, Mundelein.
