CLASS OF 1963 MAY 24, 1945 - JULY 18, 2013 Brent Arlen Reppert, 68, Neenah, Wis., died July 18, 2013, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Brent was born in Osawatomie on May 24, 1945. He graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1963 and continued on to receive a B.S. in chemistry and then an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas. He married Carla Ann Bretthauer on Jan. 20, 1979, at First Presbyterian Church in Neenah. He worked previously for Arthur Anderson (in Kansas City, Mo.), and then for Kimberly Clark (in Neenah and Las Colinas, Texas) as an auditor and later as a communications analyst, retiring in 2005 after 30 years of service. Brent enjoyed playing the trumpet and was actively involved in the Neenah Community Band and Happy Wanderers German Band. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Isabel Reppert; and his brother, Nelson Lance Reppert. He is survived by wife Carla; sons, Nelson Adam Reppert and Kyle Andrew Reppert; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Kastl (Tyler); granddaughter, Fiona Kastl; sister, Brenda Johnson (Tom); and loving nephews and other relatives. A private funeral service will be held in Osawatomie. Arrangements are being handled by Westgor Funeral Home of Neenah and Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home of Osawatomie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. |
