JANET LANDERS DIES AT AGE 31. Final rites for Janet LeRue Landers, 31, were held Wednesday in Birchard Funeral Home. Mrs. Landers died Monday in Holiday Manor, Inc. after an extended illness. Born July 21, 1945 in Paola, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Clara Cooper Lynn. She grew up in Osawatomie and graduated with the class of 1963 of Osawatomie High School.

She married Larry Landers Aug. 17, 1963 in Osawatomie and they were parents of two daughters. Among the survivors are the daughters, Kimberly Sue and Heather Rochelle; her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Harold York, Osawatomie; two brothers, LaVern Lynn, Osawatomie, and Leonard Lynn, Topeka; a sister Marlene Lynn, Osawatomie; and a stepbrother, Harold G. York, Olathe. The Rev. Paul Nuest conducted the services. I. H. McMahon sang, accompanied by Mrs. John Dollar. Pallbearers were Jack DeMoss, Garnett Briggs, Russell Sumner, David Spencer, Albert Clark and Harold G. York. Burial was in Osawatomie Cemetery.
