CLASS OF 1962 JUNE 17, 1944 - MARCH 14, 2004 William A. Reinecker, 59, Richmond, Texas, a native of Osawatomie, died Sunday, March 14, 2004, in Houston. He was born June 17, 1944, in Osawatomie, the son of Robert F. and Edna Mae Irwin Reinecker. He grew up in Osawatomie, attended local schools and was a 1962 graduate of Osawatomie High School. On Oct. 2, 1965, he and Judy Holt of Paola were married in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Osawatomie. They lived in Osawatomie until moving to Houston in 1988. Mr. Reinecker was employed by Duke Energy prior to his death. This company, previously known as Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Co., had offices in Kansas City, Mo., where he first worked. The offices were moved to Houston in 1988. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. He was a 3rd Degree Knights of the Columbus. While living in Osawatomie, he was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. William is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Judy Holt Reinecker of Richmond; daughters Pamela Thuem and husband Jason of Conroe, and Cynthia Reinecker of The Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, William Tanner and Maxwell Allen Thuem of Conroe; parents Edna and Robert F. Reinecker and mother-in-law, Maxine M. Roy, all of Osawatomie, KS. He is also survived by brothers Philip Reinecker and wife Suzanne of Tucson, AZ, Dennis Reinecker and wife Marcie of Kansas City, KS, and James Reinecker of California; sisters Ruth Ann Elliott and husband Michael of Anthony, KS, Linda Hamm and husband Rene of Chicago, IL, and Sharon Bailey and husband Ronald of Topeka, KS, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church in Richmond. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jason Thuem, Philip Reinecker, Dennis Reinecker, Mike Elliott, Rene Hamm, Karl Wolff, Ellis McKanna and Greg Lane. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Guerrero, Eric Schneider, Mark Reeder and Keith Wamsley. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
