Services for Beverly June Haas, Paola, were held Monday in the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Haas, 50, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 1994, in Miami County Hospital, Paola.

She was born April 21, 1943, in Osawatomie and her parents were Marion and Fredrica Bliesner Williamson. She grew up in Osawatomie and was a 1961 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

She and William Haas were married Oct. 20, 1966, in Osawatomie. They lived in Osawatomie and Olathe before moving to Paola in 1970.

She had worked as a clerk in an Osawatomie drug store and in a grocery store.

Her memberships included the First Baptist Church of Osawatomie and the Miami County Chapter of the American Diabetes Association where she had served as president from 1984 until 1986.

Survivorsinclude her husband, William, of the home; her parents of Osawatomie; and two sisters, Virginia Harms, Whitewater, and Dolores Post, Osawatomie.

Officiants were the Rev. Curtis Roesch and Olin McCool. Music was provided by Jean McCool, organist, and Joyce Molina, vocalist. Pallbearers were Claude Taylor, Chad Carter, Roy Pinneo, DarrellWilliams, Dennis Post and Darrell Post. Burial was in Osawatomie Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson and Son Funeral Home, Paola.

A memorial has been established in her name to the Miami County Heart Fund.
