Carl Robert Kester, age 68, passed away on July 31, 2011. “Bob” was born on August 30, 1942. His parents were Carl Richard Kester and Margaret Whitney Tenpenny Kester. He grew up in Osawatomie, KS and graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1960.

Bob joined the U.S. Army and became an SP4. He fought in Vietnam. After leaving the army, he became a butcher and worked in many locations.

Preceeding him in death were his parents and a step-brother, Richard Leroy Tenpenny. Survivors include a step-brother, Pat Tenpenny, and several nieces and nephews.

He is buried at Mount Calvary and Rose Hill Cemetery, Newman, Jefferson County. KS.
