Carolyn Ann Edwards, 73, formerly of Osawatomie and Kansas City, KS, died peacefully at her home in Yuma, AZ, surrounded by her children and family on april 30, 2016.

She was born in Ottawa, KS on Sept. 10, 1942 to Ora Ernest and Ruby Larrine Plake Burgoon. She attended school inOsawatomie and graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1960.

She was the beloved wife of Roy R. (Dick) Edwards. He preceded her in death in 2005.

Carolyn was a beautition by trade and a beautiful lady in life. She could always be found having fun, singing and dancing with friends. She was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 4538 and served as chaplain for 5 years.

Carolyn is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Dixie Kirk, Jacksonville, FL. and LeAnn Allen, Olathe, KS., and her son, Wade Edwards, LaCygne, KS; her brother, Gary Burgoon, Osawatomie, KS; her companion, Lloyd Johnson, Yuma, AZ; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous family members and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at the FOE Foothills 4538 in Yuma on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
