ELDON PECKMAN

Services for Eldon Harlin Peckman, 55, were held Tuesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Block. He died Saturday in the Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

The son of John H. and Maria Lehkuhl Peckman, he was born January 6, 1925 in Paola.

Mr. Peckman attended the Osawatomie High School and was graduated with the Class of 1949.

On August 29, 1954, he was married to Viola Spilker in Paola.

He was a machinist for Haulmaster Corporation. Besides being a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Block, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion of Paola and the teamsters Union. He was an Army veteran.

Besides his wife, Viola, he is survived by two sons, Sidney Peckman, Leadville, CO, and Paul Peckman, Wichita; and a brother, Victor Peckman, Denver, CO.

The Rev. Lane Burgland officiated at the service. Organ music was provided by June Kettler.

Pallbearers were Alfred Wendt, Walter Peckman, Lloyd Peckman, Lyman Peckman, Cletus Henning, Charles Fansfield, Bill Hiner and charles Dagaford.

Burial was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery of Block.
