 Violette I. Bastion, 58, Bonner Springs, died Monday, May 15, 1989, at Providence- St. Margaret Health Center.

She was born in Parker and lived in Bonner Springs for 40 years. 

Mrs. Bastion had been a daycare instructor at the Edwardsville United Methodist Church for eight years. She was a members of St. Martin-In-The-Fields Episcopal Church.

She is survived by one son, Troy A. "Tab" Bastion of the home; one daughter, Paige Anne Bastion of the home; her mother, Flossie Sullins of Osawatomie; two brothers, Walter L. Sullins of Terre Haute, Ind., and Max E. Sullins of Bonner Springs; a sister, Reita Woodall of Osawatomie; and one granddaughter.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at the Osawatomie Cemetery under the direction of Porter Chapel.
