KENNETH RAYMER

Kenneth W. Raymer, 70, Kansas City, KS, a former Osawatomie resident, died October 27, 2000 at Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

He was born July 18, 1930 in Sedalia, MO. He lived in Osawatomie for 22 years before moving to Kansas City, KS in 1963.

Kenneth was a machinist and foreman with the Missouri Pacific, Rock Island and Cotton Belt Railroads for 32 years before retiring in 1980.

He was a member of Delaware Lodge No. 96, AF&AM, the International Association of Machinists and the National Association of Retired Railway Employees. He was an active member of Grinter Chapel United Methodist Church.

Those preceding him in death were his first wife, Patricia S. Morrison Raymer, who died in August 1986, and a brother, Lee R. Raymer.

Surviving are his wife of 12 years, Deloris Raymer of the home; three sons, Steven R. Raymer of Salina, KS, David E. Raymer of Kansas City, MO, and Richard A. Raymer of Osawatomie; three brothers, Leland Wayne Raymer, Charles L. Raymer and Ronald E. Raymer, five sisters, Lueva Palmer, Madine Jacobs, Betty Chick, Maxine Knight and Shirley Jones; four step-children, Kathy Carey, Glenda Blomquist, Don Harrison, Jr. and Robert F. Harrison; six grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Services were at the Porter Funeral Home in Kansas City, KS with burial in the Osawatomie Cemetery.

Memorials were to Grinter Chapel United Methodist Church.
