Lawndale, Calif. -- Robert Hart, a native of Osawatomie, Kan., died Sunday, October 25, 1987, in the Robert E. Kennedy Hospital in Lawndale. He was 56.

He was born Nov. 19, 1930, in Osawatomie, the son of Vernon and Rachel Hart. He grew up in the Osawatomie area and graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1948. He was a graduate of Emporia State University.

Mr. Hart had lived in California about 22 years. He was retired because of his health.

Survivors include his wife, Lois, of the home and a sister, Norma Browning, Paola, Kan.

Mr. Hart was cremated.
