Cemetery Cleo “Faye” Filiatreault, 82, Topeka, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Midland Hospice House. She was born January 12, 1928, in Junction City, KS the daughter of John and Lula (Woodson) Thompson. Faye graduated from Osawatomie High School, Osawatomie, KS. She worked as a clerk for Missouri Pacific Railroad in Osawatomie, KS. Faye was united in marriage to Donald Filiatreault on April 19, 1952 in Osawatomie, KS. She was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. Faye is survived by her husband: Don Filiatreault of Topeka; a son, Gregg (Mary) Filiatreault of Branson, MO; a daughter, Lisa (Wayne) Stansell, Meriden, KS; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Jeanette “Dolly” Christopher. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and five sisters. Faye will lie in state after 2:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. A rosary prayer service will be at 6:30 PM Thursday at the funeral chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 29, 2010, at Christ The King Catholic Church, Topeka, KS. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.
