JEANETTE LANKFORD PLUMMER

AUGUST 28, 1926 - AUGUST 19, 1982

Mrs. Jeanette Marie Plummer, 55, of Paola, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1982, at Suburban Medical Center in Overland Park. She was born Aug. 28, 1926, in Hoisington, the daughter of the late Myron and Stephanie Bohatch Lankford.

After the family moved to Osawatomie she attended school there graduating from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1945.

Mrs. Plummer was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Paola and its Altar Society.

She was married Feb. 5, 1948, in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Osawatomie to Michael Edward Plummer and he survives at the rural home. Other survivors are her two daughters, Mrs. Linda L. Stockton of Columbia, Mo., and Miss Theresa Plummer of Paola; a son, Dennis Michael Plummer; a grandson, Brian E. Stockton; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis R. Crone and Mrs. Delores Heger, both o Paola, and her grandmother, Mrs. Ada Thompson of Hoisington.

The rosary was recited at 7:30 Friday evening at the Wilson & Son Funeral Home in Paola. The funeral Mass was at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The Rev. Denis Pickert officiated. Music was provided by Mrs. Judy Jeck.

Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were David Heger, Bill Heger, Gary Windisch, John Windisch, Dan Godfrey and Patrick Peuser.
