Laura Lea Kearney Ogle died on October 18, 2011 in Pineville, North Carolina. She was born in Osawatomie, the daughter of John and Clodie Kearney, on January 17, 1927. She graduated from Osawatomie High School in May 1945.

She married James Richard Ogle in July 28, 1956. He preceded her in death in June 1994.

Laura is survived by her sister, Lola Redmond, of Leawood, Kansas. She had two sons, James Richard Ogle Jr. of Topeka, Kansas and Michael Kearney Ogle of Charlotte, North Carolina. She has three grandchildren: Colin James Blessing Ogle of Lexington, Kentucky from James and his ex-wife, Rebecca Blessing; Jessica Ogle and Hannah Ogle of Charlotte, North Carolina from Michael and his wife, Stephanie.

Laura will be remembered by family and friends at a memorial gathering at the Garden Chapel of the Topeka Cemetery at 11am on Saturday, July 28th.
