Charlotte M. (Bussell) Manly, 84, of Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, at NorthCare Hospice House.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, July 9, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons, Floral Hills Chapel, followed by a service at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Faith Bible Church or NorthCare Hospice House.

Charlotte was born Oct. 6, 1927, in Osawatomie, Kan., to Vern and Lola (Johnson) Bussell. Charlotte worked for the J.C. Penney Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Faith Bible Church.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, William L. Manly of the home, two daughters and their husbands, Konnee and Don Atwell of KCMO, Laurie and Jeff Brooks of Blue Springs, Mo., her grandchildren, Kristin McConnell, Jarrod See, Benjamin Brooks and three great grandchildren.
