Nina I. Alsup passed away at Ellinwood District Hospital, Ellinwood, KS, on October 27, 2007.

Nina was born on September 27, 1926 at Osawatomie, Kansas to Peter and Ada MacKenzie Yocum. She graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1944.

She and John A. Alsup were married on December 24, 1953 at Osawatomie. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2000.

She retired from Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Her memberships included United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary .

She is survived by sons William M. Alsup and his wife Rashell, and Jeff A. Alsup and his wife Charlene, daughters Susan G. Anderson and husband Jim, and Barbara J. Carter, brother Don Yocum, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood. Memorials were to United Methodist Women and the VFW Auxiliary.
