Mrs. Phyllis Ruth Crone, 63, R5, Paola, died Friday, Feb. 21, 1986, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.

She was born Feb. 16, 1923, in Hoisington, Kan., the daughter of Myron Clair and Stephanie Bohatch Lankford. After the family moved to Osawatomie she attended schools there and graduated from Osawatomie High School with the Class of 1942.

She was married March 2, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., to Guy J. Crone.

Mrs. Crone was a bookkeeper before retiring.

She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Paola and its Altar Society.

Surviving are her husband, Guy Crone of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Delores Marie Shaw of Mary land Heights, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Doloris Heger of Paola; and three grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, at the Wilson and Son Funeral Home in Paola. The funeral Mass will be said by the Rev. Denis Pickert at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. The music will be provided by Mrs. Judy Jeck.

The burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving as the pallbearers will be Jerry Brady, Steve Windisch, Bill Heger, David Heger, Roger Medlin and B. J. Stockton.
