Charles Curtis Thompson, 92, Liberty, Mo., passed away February 20, 2016.

Charles was born Sept. 3, 1923, in Osawatomie, Kan., to Almon and Marie Adeline (Youngs) Thompson. They preceded him in death.

He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, serving during World War II. Charles worked as Foreman in the General Shop for TWA Overhaul Plant.

On March 24, 1946, Charles married Peggy Showman in Kansas. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Cyndy (Rick) Falco, Kansas City, Mo., and Chris (Bob) Seider, Kearney, Mo.; three grandsons, Andy Falco, Jason Seider and Ben Seider; two great-grandchildren, Alexus Falco and Kyle Seider.

Memorial service 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1001 Sunset Ave., Liberty, MO 64068. Visitation 5-6 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Luke's Hospice, Kansas City.
