ROSETTA MAE LAW ULREY

Rosetta Mae Law Ulrey,78, Haven, Kan., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, in Manhattan.

She was born Oct. 5, 1923, in Osawatomie, the daughter of Lawrence E. and Della McCutcheon Law. She grew up in Osawatomie and was a 1941 graduate of Osawatomie High School.

She and Ivan Charles Ulrey were married May 30, 1946, in Wichita. He preceded her in death Aug. 8, 1983.

Mrs. Ulrey had lived in Haven since 1965. Prior to that time she had lived in Bryan, Texas, Rapid City, S.D., and Lawrence. She was a homemaker, teacher and a retired clerk for Cheney State Park.

Her memberships included the Haven Baptist Church, Haven Family and Education Unit and Haven Senior Center.

Others preceding her in death were two grandchildren, Eric and Charles Ulrey. Her mother died Feb. 2 of this year.

Survivors included three sons, David Ulrey of Battlecreek, Mich., Dennis Ulrey of Manhattan and Daniel Ulrey of Dallas/FortWorth, Texas; four brothers, Jerry Law and Bob Law, both of Osawatomie, Gene Law of Fulton, Kan., and Herb Law of Paola; a sister, Jody Hall of Olathe; and five grandchildren.

Services were Feb. 5 in the church. Burial was in Laurel Cemetery.
