Fair Oaks, Calif. - - Services for Dean Leon VanHorn, Davis, Calif., were held Tuesday in Mount Vernon Memorial Park and Mortuary.

Mr. VanHorn, 71, died Friday, May 20, 1994.

He was originally from Osawatomie, Kansas where he graduated from Osawatomie High School in 1940. He had lived in Milbrae for 15 years. He served with the United States Navy during World War Two and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wfe, Jeannie VanHorn, Milbrae; two sons, Mark VanHorn, Shingle Springs, and Bradford VanHorn, Walnut Creek; and a brother, Vernon VanHorn, Lane, Kansas.

A memorial has been established in his name to the American Heat Association.
