Clinton, MO- Service for Gene Helyn Imes Spellman, Clinton were held Dec. 30 in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton. Mrs. Spellman died Sunday Dec. 27, 1992 in St. Luke’s Hospital Kansas City, MO. She was 70. She was born in Kansas City, MO. She attended Osawatomie, Kan. Schools and was graduated in 1940 from Osawatomie High School. In 1942, she was married to Ray Spellman in Osawatomie. Mrs. Spellman was a member of the Clinton Country Club and the church. Survivors include her husband, Ray, of the home; three sons, Ray Spellman II of Clinton, Ronald Spellman of Leavenworth, KS and Frank Spellman of Lansing, KS; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Burial was in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society in her name.
