The Meetings


Patsy Sanders, Parliamentarian, and several board members plan a meeting on partliamentary procedure.

Kayettes Strived for 2000-Poing Award

With a strong sense of devotion to the ideals of service to school, city, and world, the Kayettes began the year.

In accordance with school service, this year's club undertook such tasks as cleaning the school loungers, hanging mirrors in the girls' restroom, and presenting each teacher with a personalized coffee cup.

For local service projects, the Kayettes provided fruit baskets, tray favors, and flowers to shut-ins, periodically visited the nursing homes, and helped beautify the city library.

World service programs included the support of two Korean orphans and the purchase and delivery of self-help tools to underdeveloped South American countries.

Leading the various school, city, and world service programs were team captains Frances Platz,Nancy Marriott, Lois Manly, Mary Mattingly, Gail Perry, connie skeens, Martha Fowler, and Dana Dickson.

This year the state Kayette organization celebrated its twentieth anniversary. It has received outstanding service citations from the National Cerebral Palsy association, the Logopedic Instute, C.A.R.E., and Meals for Millions.



Terry Kuder, Vicke Cullumber, Gecky Van Horn, and Gaylr Dunaway prepare tray favors for residents of the nursing home.


Sheile Cook, Pam Dembny, Susan Hermreck, and Connie Conklin are working industriously,
making the Kayette lounge neat for high school girls.


Joyce Henness, Sharon Hinton, and Linda ross, in accordance with school service, hang a mirror in the ladies' restroom.

 


Making plans for the Mother-Daughter Tea are Vicki Williams, Cathy ricketts, Cheri sheehan, Rita Griffith, and Amy Springer.

The aroma of good food fills the room
as dads and daughers await their meal.

 


Some girls say their dads are full of air.
