The Thespians, still a new organization to O.H.S., held bi-montly meetings on Thursday evenings. Business matters were discussed, and then programs were given or practices for various contests were held. The home contest, designed to help prepare contestants for further speech work, was held in late February. Then on March 19, the group traveled to Pittsburg to participate in the district festival.

Donetta Skeens, Jane Wolken, Donna Lambert, Pat Cartwright, and Martha Fowler, are reading aloud for a part in the one-act play, "Mooncalf Mugford." James Zakoura and Dennis Reinecker are ascending the stage to practica a duet act.

Acting techniques are explained to Reed Hartford, Bill Mills, and Elaine Whitney by Thespian sponsor, Mr. Longmire.
