CLASS OF '63 RECEIVES DIPLOMAS

Sixty-two seniors marched into the municipal auditorium on the evening of May 23 at eight o'clock to receive their diplomas. The address, "Shall Forever Be Encouraged", was delivered to them by Dr. Harold E. Sponberg, President of the Washburn University. The diplomas were presented by Howard Barnes, President of the Board of Education.

Baccalaureate service was held on the previous Sunday. The sermon, "The Marks of an Educated Man", was presented by Reverend William Hart, pastor of the First Christian Church.
