The Junior Red Cross Council, now in its second year at O.H.S. is concentrating this year on the production of nut cups, carnival caps, tray favors, and tray covers for military and veterans' hospitals at each holiday season. They bought and wrapped ten gifts for the Atchison Receiving Home at Christmas time. The International School Correspondence Program is the special project for 1958-59. It provides the Council with an opportunity to communicate with a group of young people in another country by means of writing, art, and photography which will be assembled into an album for exchange.
