LYCEUM COURSE The Lecture Course for
the past year has been the best one O.H.S. has ever
featured. It consisted of one lecture, one miscellaneous,
and three musical numbers. A complimentary number for season
ticket holders was given near the end of the
course. The course as a whole
had a better attendance than any previous course. Judging
from the standpoint of attendance, Vierra's Hawaiians, was
the most popular number, while the surprisingly large
audience which heard Dr. William Rader's lecture showed the
appreciation of Osawatomie's people for good
lectures. the course was also a
financial success, the net profits exceeding $190.00. A more
expensive six number course is being planned for next
year.
