~ A SENIOR POEM ~

Hugh, with a pen has proved a genius,
Some day he will conduct a flourishing business;
Drawing cartoons for "Life" and "Judge,"
For no one his reputation can budge.

Ada Saunders, so stately and grand.
She will rule her husband with an iron hand.
He will exert himself to grant her whims,
and take her to see the comedy films.

Bernice Tuttle, on the Chatauqua platform,
Will preach strict measures of civic reform.
She will gain great fame in expression,
We know she can do it, for that's her intention.

Albert Day, as the students all know,
Has found the way that his life must go.
With Margaret for a charming wife,
He will lead a peaceful, happy life.

Bernice Fuller in Egypt shall reign,
With camels and slaves in her train.
In the depths of her slumbering eyes,
The fate of all Egypt lies.

Conrad Divers is a very smart boy.
Mechanics and inventions to him are a joy.
Some day he willmake a wonderful invention,
And win for himself honorable mention.

Harold Reynerson is a Senior lad,
Has had a reputation which is quite bad.
But in English his recitations are snappy,
And he is better known to his friends of "Happy".

there is a Senior of Irish decent,
Who upon grumbling is bent.
From the description you'll know that it's Bert,
who some day will be a shorthand expert.

With a gypsy band Fannie will roam,
With no certain place to call her home.
She will tell the fortunes of many
In Italy, France and Romania.

There is a quiet fellow called "Doc,"
Who cures all his patients by shock.
The world well knows that he'll prosper,
this arrogant, wise young doctor.

A dashing young Senior is Galbraith,

He is charming in manner and etiquette.
His fact is that of a cruel heart smasher,
and the woman he gets, there will be none to match her.

Frank Isenhart is a musical star,
His fame will spread to the countries afar.
On Hawaii's magic shore,
He will charm their hearts with his jazz lore.

Miss Beulah Cartwright,
A student so bright;
In physics she is Mr. Axton's delight,
For she always has her lesson just right.

Miss Marie Stansbury,
With laugh light and merry.
She has the brains of a wizard,
And she knows everything from A to izzard.

Eva Verdier will make a farmer's wife,
And on a farm she will spend her life.
Each morning to market, she will go in her Ford,
and add heaps of money to her fast growing hoard.

In England Mildred will spend her career,
Dancing for the King and each royal peer;
And each noble heart she is bound to ensnare,
With her flashing blue eyes and raven black hair.

Our old classmate, Helen Bryan,
Shall marry a social lion.
In society columns her name shall be seen,
and at fashionable balls she shall reign as the queen.

Helen Wilkinson, so quiet and sedate,
We know she has met her life mate.
A well ordered household shall be her shrine,
And there she shall reign till the end of time.

Our old friend, Ralph Fee,
an artist shall be.
In Europe he will study his art,
Where he will paint famous pictures with a merry heart.

Leona Coen, so quiet and demure,
The Seniors all love her, that's sure.
With her sweet ways she will win a good man's heart,
In a housewife's role she will make her mark.

Hazel Jolley, poetic and witty,
Has written many a charming ditty;
But her poetry is all on the blink,
And it is hoped that it will soon be extinct.

Everette McMillen, with heart loyal and true,
The world knows that great things he will do.
Some day we shall see in the New York Tribune,
His initials in the corner of a famous cartoon.
