Ah! noble Seniors, ye are truly "up some," and we are glad to be called your brothers and sisters in school affairs.

But in your high position do not forget to think about your brothers and sisters, who are following in your steps. Give us a helping hand and words of encouragement, so that we may be able to overcome the difficulties and at last reach the same goal with as high honors, and with as many laurels as our Senior brothers and sisters of the honorable Class of 1909 have done.

It seems to us a very long road to travel to reach the present honored position. We have learned that your success has been attained by persistent effort, and we thank you for your example and for the inspiration that comes to us to go and do likewise.

Your studious and honorable career will stand as a guide to the Sophomore Class.

We pledge you that we will use our best endeavors to see that the standard will not be lowered by the Class of 1911.
