Band Acquired
New Uniforms
A picture of spendor
was presented by the band decked out in their new Embassy
uniforms complimented by the fur Busby. A formal appearance
was posed by the black trousers with red and white stripes,
topped by the powder blue jacket. The headdress was white
fur, mounted with a red plume. Wearing their uniforms the
band presented halftime programs at all home football games
and participated in area parades.
When mounting the
platform for concert performances, O.H.S. band members
donned their red and black Embassy ribbon and black bow
ties. Their formal concert was presented to the public in
April.
Other musical groups
that students participated in were the Pep Band, which
helped to encourage school spirit, and the Dance
Band.
The Flute and
Saxophone Quartets, along with the Brass and Clarinet
Choirs, displayed their talents at various times during the
school year.
