As the Alumni gathered from all sections of the country, the members of the Class of '64 were gathering in front of O.H.S. for a parade and initiation. the parade, led by the O.H.S. Band, marched through town to the city auditorium. Each initiate was required to sing a song or play an instrument. Lucky winners for best costumes were Cecelia Slayman and Tom Parmenter, first prize and Diana Waggoner and Gary Filby, second prize. A banquet was held that evening in honor of the newly initiated alumni, followed by a dance for all alumni and their guests.
