Lived by class of '53 "These Precious Moments" were lived by the Juniors and Seniors on April 24, 1964. The traditional banquet held at the high school gymnasium was prepared by the food's classes with assistance from Mrs. Clerico. In the welcome, Jo Nell Peterson expressed her wishes that this year's prom would be the highlight of treasured memories for all. John Yoger conveyed in the response his thanks to the Juniors for their time and effort in making this prom one of moments to remember. All awaited the magic hour that would commence a dreamy evening of dancing to the music of "The Continentals." At the stroke of twelve the scene of merriment moved to the high school auditorium for the showing of "The Notorious Landlady". The final event was the breakfast at the Elks Lodge served by the Lions and Elks. "These Precious Moments" will live forever in the memories of those young at heart. |
