Pep Club Promoted Interest In Team

The Pep Club was created for students interested in our football and basketball teams. Its main function was to promote an interest in the team and to practice good sportsmanship. Besides attending the games, the Pep club's eighty-one members put signs in the halls announcing the games and decorated the goal posts or auditorium before games. They planned the crowning ceremonies for the football homecoming and were in charge of a coat check at basketball games. Also, Pep club sponsored the Varsity cheerleaders in the area Cheerleading Clinic.
