~ CLASSES ~

These English students are learning that correct speech and good diction are valuable for future success. Other courses in the department of Language Arts are Literature, Speech, Dramatics, Latin and Spanish.

Students of American Government learn about the departments of their government and how they are administered. Other courses offered in the Social science department are American History, American Problems,Sociology, Psychology, World History and Driver's Education.

These boys are explaining some Advanced Algebra problems to their classmates. This department also offers Algebra I, General Math, Geometry, and Trigonometry.


Biology students are busy writing down what they have acquired during previous class discussions and experiments. The Science Department also offers Chemistry, Physics and General Science.

Students of Mechanical Drawing learn not only to put their ideas on paper but also to read correctly blueprints and other plans for construction. Students who are interested in Industrial Arts are also offered Shop.

Students in the Foods classes learn the fundamentals of cooking and how to prepare a complete meal. Clothing classes are also offered in this department.

These shorthand students are learning how to take dictation at a reasonable rate of speed. Other Commercial Arts courses are Typing, Secretarial Practice, Business Law, General Business and bookkeeping.

These boys realize that Physical Education is essential for physical development. A course in Health is also offered in this department.
