Charleston, Charleston - - - - - If these people had lived in the 1920's, these clothes might have been their best instead of just their costumes for the Kayette "Date with Dad Party", December 1, 1959.

Pep Club members, who boost our teams, get much exercise while hanging victory-inspiring posters in the halls
twice a week preceding games.

These girls are hoping to prove the theory that practice makes perfect.

Kays and Kayettes are an Asset to Our School

Since ninety-five percent of the girls in school belong to Kayettes, it is necessary to divide them into six teams representing the six objectives of Kayettes. Each team has its turn to take charge of a program; and it has adopted ten patients at the State Hospital.

Mr. Millard Wren and Miss Deana McClure are the head sponsors of the Kays and Kayetters.

Some of the Kays' many projects are collecting for the March of Dimes, helping with the Freshman Initiation, and running a pop corn stand at all home basketball games.

Both Kays and Kayettes plan a special pre-school Easter service each morning of the week preceding Easter.

The Kay and Kayette Boards work industriously to carry out the high ideals of their organizations. The members meet once a month and discuss the future activities to introduce to the Clubs.
