When the Eighteen Forty-Niners reached their goal there were many of their number who became restless and longed for further horizons. In a like manner, the Nineteen Forty-Niners have completed a part of their journey through life. Some will be satisfied to stay where they are; others will have the urge to go on. The class of Forty-Nine must now separate, each to his own way. They will find no land to be conquered, but they will find their new horizons in science, air power, radio and many similar fields.
