WELCOME TO THE 1942 OHS YEARBOOK

Introduction

And So - -

With the publication of this yearbook, the Osawatomie High School journalism class of the year 1941-42 ends, with regret, its year of publishing activity.

And it is at this time, our last official contact with you, that we want to thank you, the student body and faculty, for your splendid cooperation throughout the past year. We want to tell you of our appreciation for your consideration and patience with our meager attempts at writing and publishing.

The journalism students wish to tell you how much we have enjoyed our last year here; what a wonderful year it has really been, every hour crowded with constructive work, and pleasures. As seniors it is necessary for us to say that we leave you with mingled happiness and regret and many precious memories.

This little booklet, entitled REFLECTIONS, is our last publication and is put forth by the Journalism class with the realization that it isn't much, but we have given it our all and we proudly present it to you with the sincere hope that in future years, when memories grow dim, it may help you in recalling the happy days spent here and in remembering friendships left behind.
