Football

SEASON SUMMARY

O.H.S. opened its football season with thirty-eight men reporting for practice. Of this number, seven were lettermen and the others were raw recuits.

In the opening game of the season some real football playing was displayed. The game ended in a tie, but our team completely outplayed our opponent. Real playing was put out all during the season, and this was especially true in our Turkey Day fray with Paola.

O.H.S. was three games, tied two and lost two during the season. Our team scored fifty-seven points, allowing our opponents to score fifty-four.

In next year's men much good material can be found, and next season is expected to be even more successful than this one has been. Only three men leave the squad this year, while thirteen lettermen are coming back next year to fight for the Red and White.
