A season which started disastrously with a 22-0 defeat by Argentine followed by five successive defeats ended in a blaze of glory with a 14-0 victory over our old rival, Paola. This is the third consecutive annual victory for O.H.S. The squad won over Paola twice this season.

A large squad reported to the new coach, Barclay Bond, of the College of Emporia, and worth recruits were found to fill the vacancies left by veterans who had graduated.

During the early part of the season a jinx seemed to follow the squad, for although in several games they made more yardage than their opponents, they lost the game.

Not until Armistice Day did the team seem to hit its stride, when it downed Garnett, and after two weeks of grueling practice, inflicted the humiliating defeat to Paola.

Seven regulars will be lost to the squad by graduation and their absence will be felt. They are: Cragg, Allard, Duffield, Roy Hearn, Conklin, Nelson and Barrett, all of whom except Cragg, are linemen.
