GENEVA FISCHER COKE

Geneva Cheree’ (Fischer) Coke, 27, of Leavenworth, died Friday, March 26, 2010, at St. John Hospital. She was born, March 30, 1982, at Fort Sill, Okla.

She is survived by her husband, Ryan Coke of the home; her children, Colton (Cole) and CrissAnn Coke; her parents, Randy and Debora Palmer of Easton, Kan., and Roy and Leeia Fischer of Camden Point, Mo.; her brothers, Tony (Charlene) Fischer, Jason (Kinzie) Fischer, Ed Holmes and Eric Palmer; her grandparents, Calvin and Isabel Williams of Clayton, N.M. and Rosalie Palmer of Belton, Mo.; a large extended family; and many friends.

Geneva was employed at Fort Leavenworth. She loved making people laugh and could create almost anything. She loved making things for her children. She could play many instruments; clarinet, sax, guitar and piano to name a few. She was an avid reader, especially to her children. She was very smart and enjoyed learning new things. Her ability to learn quickly allowed her to accomplish anything she wanted.

Geneva was a great photographer. Everyday she took new pictures of Ryan and her children and shared them with all her Facebook friends. Geneva loved her life as a wife and mother. In every plan she made and everything she did, she included her family.

Geneva accepted Christ into her life when she was 11 years old while spending the summer at her grandparents in Clayton, N.M. She was baptized at the Camden Point Baptist Church that fall.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, at the Main Post Chapel, Ft. Leavenworth. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to an account for Geneva’s children at Armed Forces Bank.
