Stephanie Michelle Mohr, 18, rural Osawatomie , died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center of injuries receive in a two-car accident earlier that day.

She was born Aug. 4, 1980, in Cleburne, Texas, to Greg and Carolyn Mohr.

She was a 1998 graduate of Osawatomie HighSchool. She was a freshman at Johnson County Community College and was a switchboard operator for Johnson County Answering Service.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Mohr, of the home; her father, Greg Mohr, of Princeton; two brothers, Dustin andTyler Mohr of Osawatomie; her grandparents, Gene and Dorothy Mohr of Ottawa, Jim and Bonnie Mellon of Independence, Mo., and David and Shirley Daniels of Lathrop, Mo; and a great-grandmother, Peggy Daniels of Lathrop, Mo.

Services were held Monday morning in Wilson and Son Chapel in Paola. The Rev. Larry Buss, pastor of United Methodist Church of Osawatomie, officiated, with assistance from Douglas Tyrrell, former Osawatomie Middle School principal.

Pallbearers were Dustin Mohr, Jesse Sare, Justin Sare, Frank Barden, Adam Needham and John Slayman. Burial was in Highland Cemetery in Ottawa.

A Stephanie Mohr Memorial Fund as been established.
